Razzle Dazzle Week

Robyn's been inviting us, the RD girls, to her cabin in Island Park, Idaho for years. Generally we're not idiots, but we did flog ourselves upon arrival for not having come sooner. This place is beautiful and remote (no AT&T network, at least) and blessedly quiet.
I gave up on my camera five years ago (the batteries died, the charger didn't work, the resolution was bad and I couldn't figure out how to make it better) but for this trip I dug it up. The resolution is still low but I had a blast taking the fotos. I started as soon as I landed, in SLC.

My favorite building in SLC: the Public Library. This is the atrium. I had to work Monday so I did it here.

Glass blowing

Last month, hours after Robyn arrived from LA on the red-eye, we hopped in the bug and drove 6 hours north to Corning, NY to visit Di. (Corning's a small town with beautiful geography and zero nightlife.) Di might not have ever moved there except for the Corning Museum of Glass. CMOG is cool to begin with and was even cooler for us because Di got us in for free. That meant we could spend our money on blowing glass.
